REPORTED PROPERTIES OF INGREDIENTS:

DANDELION
Dandelion leaves and roots have been used for centuries to treat liver, gall bladder, kidney, and joint problems. In some countries, Dandelion is considered a blood purifier and is used for ailments such as eczema and cancer. Dandelion  has also been used to treat poor digestion, water retention, and diseases of the liver such as hepatitis.
Dandelion is a natural diuretic that increases urine production by promoting the excretion of salts and water from the kidney. Dandelion may be used for a wide range of conditions requiring mild diuretic treatment, such as poor digestion, liver disorders, and high blood pressure. Some modern naturopathic physicians assert that dandelion can detoxify the liver and gallbladder, reduce side effects of medications metabolized by the liver, and relieve symptoms associated with liver disease.
BEARBERRY (UVA-URSI)
A favored food of some bears, Uva-ursi means "bear's grape" in Latin. Teas and extracts of the leaves have been used as urinary tract antiseptics and diuretics for centuries as well as vehicles for pharmaceutical preparations. Historically Uva-ursi has been used worldwide as a diuretic, astringent, and antiseptic and been recommended for nephritis, kidney stones, cystitis, and as a tonic for the liver and kidneys
CRANBERRY
Native Americans traditionally used cranberries (Vaccinium macrocarpon) medicinally for prevention of kidney stones, and Cranberries were believed to remove toxins from the blood. Health benefits of cranberry and cranberry juice are based on capabilities of the flavonoid constituents of cranberry berries, called anthocyanins.
Cranberry may increase urinary excretion of oxalate, possibly predisposing to calcium oxalate stone formation, it also increases magnesium and potassium excretion, which can decrease the rate of stone formation. Cranberry has been found to decrease urinary calcium by 50% in patients with renal stones.
